The renewal is the price that repeats
An $850 formation and a $1,100 formation differ by $250, once. An $850 renewal and a $1,200 renewal differ by $350 every year, or $1,400 over 4 renewals. Get the year-2 figure in writing before you pay for year 1.
How to choose a Seychelles incorporation service
- You want a fixed yearly figure: pick a service that prints the renewal fee next to the formation price. 4 of the 7 do.
- You need a bank account with the company: Air Corporate, Seychelles Company Registration and Tetra Consultants sell packages with account opening support, though whether an offshore bank account opens is the bank's decision, not the provider's.
- You need nominees: the fee runs from $590 to $800 a role where it is published, and the agreement that says what a nominee director will and will not sign matters more than the fee.
- Your structure is not a plain IBC: a special license company, a foundation or a trust is quote-first work, which is where Sterling Offshore and Tetra Consultants sit.

I would pay a little more each year for a provider that shows me the renewal fee today. You form the company once and deal with the same firm every year after that, so I read the renewal line and the names on the about page before I read the formation price.
When a Seychelles formation service is the wrong purchase
- You expect the provider to settle your tax position: a formation service registers and maintains the company. Where an offshore company is taxed depends on where you live and where the company is managed.
- Your home country has CFC rules: it can tax the company's profit in your hands under its controlled foreign company rules, whichever provider forms the company.
- The company belongs to a multinational group: Seychelles applies its economic substance test to the foreign passive income of group companies, which calls for advice before a formation package.
- You take card payments through Stripe: Stripe does not serve Seychelles companies, so settle the payment setup before you form one.
